AIDS BOOK CONTEST!

Tue Sep 25, 2007, 12:13 PM
My best friend and I are writing a book about HIV/AIDS and need your help.

The book will consist of art (poetry, painting, drawings etc.), stories, facts about HIV/AIDS,AIDS related historical stories (such as that horrible ordeal in Africa where the doctors were reusing needles to give children the malaria shot and infected thousands of children with AIDS), and letters.

This is what we need from you.

If you know someone with HIV/AIDS, or someone affected personally by a loved one having the virus, please let them know what we are trying to do, or sumbit something of your own.
You do not need to have or know someone with HIV/AIDS to enter into the contest, you must just feel strongly about the subject, and put your best effort forward.

You can either submit an essay if you would like to tell your story, a factual essay, AIDS related historical stories, and letters to my email. Please no longer then 2,000 words, and keep in mind if your essay is choosen you will be asked to write the essay by hand and resend it, so please save a copy for yourself.

All essays may be sent to my email mrssmith7@msn.com
Subject: Project AIDS Prevention

Art and letters can be submited to the following mailing address:

Project AIDS Prevention
400 marlboro court #12
Tecumseh, Michigan 49286.

Please include your name, age, address, and a little bit about yourself on a seperate piece of paper.

If it is in the form of poetry you can send me a note with the link to the poem. Once again if you are choosen you will be asked to hand write the poem and mail it to us.

Unfortunately not everyone that submits their work will be included in the book. We will however send you a copy of the book if you are choosen to be included.
Money gained from this book will be donated towards the research of HIV/AIDS virus.

Please link this journal so others may learn about about this project.

There is no limitation on the amount of entries you may submit, but for each entry please link it to this journal entry.

Thank you kindly,
danni
